Exodus 20-24 can be a difficult section of the Bible for many people. Slavery, Capital Punishment, and other difficult issues litter the pages of these passages. Did God really condone slavery? How are all the harsh laws consistent with the message of love from Jesus? Today we look at Exodus 20-24 to answer these questions and see that God's laws are actually beautiful when read in their context.
The story of Exodus is in many ways the story of the whole bible. It's a story about who God is, how he has saved us, and how we can enter into life with him. Exodus shows us, through the story of the people of Israel, how God draws us out in order to draw us in.
