Joyful Endurance Over Gloomy Defeat

From Series: "Counter Culture"

Eugene Peterson, writer of the Message Bible paraphrase, calls the church a “colony of heaven in a country of death.” In other words, the community of the church is meant to be a representation of heaven on earth—a visible picture of what life, community, and relationships look like when God gets his redemptive and restorative way. The church is means to be a counter-culture of relational beauty and joy. Yesterday, April 11, we started a new series on this exact subject, using Romans 12 as a guiding framework. Join us as we explore God's design for this kind of Counter Culture. In addition to watching or listening to sermons, you can also read sermon manuscripts here.
